About the Role

TELUS Digital is looking for an Online Data Analyst for a remote, part-time, long-term project in the Netherlands. The opportunity is suitable for detail-oriented individuals with an interest in research and a good understanding of national and local geography.

The role can be performed from home, allowing contributors to work at their own pace and choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements.

The project focuses on improving the content and quality of digital maps used by millions of people worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment.
  • Verify and compare data from different online sources.
  • Determine the relevance and accuracy of information.
  • Contribute to improving the content and quality of digital maps.
  • Work across different task types, including maps, news, audio tasks, and relevance-related assignments.
  • Follow provided guidelines and meet the project’s quality standards.

Requirements

  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch.
  • Residency in the Netherlands for the last 5 consecutive years.
  • Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in the Netherlands.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and conduct online research using search engines, online maps, and website information.
  • Flexibility to work across a diverse range of task types.
  • Daily access to a broadband internet connection, computer, and relevant software.
  • No previous professional experience is required.

Qualification and Assessment

Candidates must meet the basic requirements and complete the standard assessment process before joining the project.

The qualification process includes an open-book exam designed to determine suitability for the position, as well as ID verification. TELUS Digital provides guidelines and learning materials before the qualification exam.

The exam must be completed within a specified timeframe, although candidates can choose when to complete it within that period.

Work completed during the project will also be subject to standard quality assurance checks throughout the term of the agreement.

Service Rates

Compensation is based on completed tasks and project availability. Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume and program requirements, including quality and productivity, in accordance with the program’s quality standards and guidelines.
