Our client is looking for an Integral Project Manager to work as an integral construction and accommodation project manager on patient care, research, education and the working environment. From the initial planning stage through to safe commissioning, you carry final responsibility for several complex construction projects. We welcome candidates from the UK who have the right to work

Responsibilities for the Integral Project Manager role include:

  • Responsible for several complex accommodation projects with budgets between €5-15 million.
  • Create modern and efficient working environments for our client, where professionals can work and collaborate comfortably.
  • You are involved from planning through to safe commissioning and bear final responsibility for delivering accommodation that is ready for use.
  • The project focuses on all prerequisite sub-projects needed to make the large scale new build and renovation in Phase 1 possible. This includes:
    • moving departments in order to free up specific building sections
    • repositioning logistical functions
    • creating temporary facilities to support continuity
    • carefully stripping or demolishing existing building sections
  • This phase requires an integrated approach in which planning, engineering and logistics all come together.
  • Responsible for the integrated management of seven sub-projects, each ranging in size from €5 to €15 million. Each sub-project has its own project leader, who reports to you and works closely with you as the integral project manager.

Candidates applying for the Integral Project Manager role will need:

  • A completed higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) degree in a relevant field such as architecture, construction engineering or real estate management.
  • At least 10-15 years’ experience leading integrated accommodation projects within complex (healthcare) organisations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budget control, plus strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiar with methodologies such as Prince2 or IPMA and have experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • You are strategic, organisationally savvy, decisive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Liaise with professionals from different disciplines and have strong financial insight. You can demonstrably operate within a complex and politically sensitive stakeholder landscape.
