About the Role

You’ll join a tight-knit, collaborative design team that cares deeply about creating delightful and intuitive life benefits experiences for our customers and their employees. You’ll help bring hundreds of thousands of our customers peace of mind and joy by helping them to navigate the complex benefits industry, financial planning, employee retention and ultimately providing the right choice of life benefits for their employees. You will make it easy for our customers to manage every aspect of spending and empower them to make better financial decisions.

  • Crafting seamless experiences across our financial and internal platforms, helping our customers get time back to focus their attention on scaling their business.

  • Finding the sweet spot between powerfully flexible features and minimal complexity for benefit admins

  • Developing experiences that feel personal, intuitive, and caring

  • Obsessing over small details and every experience we deliver

  • Planning and discussing an executable strategy that matches company goals

  • Collaboratively planning/designing a roadmap that will help our commercial and enterprise customers

  • Having on an owner’s mentality, taking pride in your work as well as your team’s work 


You Will 
  • Collaborate with partners across product and engineering to define, build, and release new products and features

  • Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts for validation

  • Develop and deliver well-documented, high-fidelity visuals that accurately represent Forma’s brand and design system standards

  • Contribute strategic thinking to product features and roadmap

  • Contribute to and positively shape the design team’s culture through collaboration, feedback, and process iteration

  • Push forward and maintain a high design bar and level of execution

Preferred Skills
  • Three years of minimum experience designing digital products and systems. You have a breadth of knowledge of what goes into product design, from system design to visuals

  • Great communication skills. You present design decisions and processes clearly and confidently, regardless of the audience

  • A collaborative approach. You’re a great partner to other designers and your cross-functional teammates

  • A growth-mindset. You’re open and receptive to feedback, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • A sense of humor. We spend a lot of time together—sharing gifs and laughing over our remote meetings keeps us energized and inspired throughout the day

  • Having financial, benefits, or SaaS-related experience is a plus
