JOB SUMMARY

The Research Analyst utilizes advanced research techniques, strategic insights, and quantitative analysis to advance the organization’s mission and objectives. The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting departmental research activities, monitoring the landscape of the ECE credentialing field, and recommending strategies that contribute to the Council’s growth. The Research Analyst supports the work of the Psychometric and Research department through all aspects of the credentialing process and works cross-functionally to provide insights that guide strategic decision-making processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research Support: Design independent studies to evaluate the effectiveness of products or services. Collaborate with Council departments to conduct qualitative and quantitative data projects. Generate clear and concise reports outlining findings, providing valuable insights to internal and external stakeholders and offering recommendations to improve product performance and inform strategic decision-making. (70%)
  • Project Management: Work with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the Council’s work is streamlined. (20%)
  • External Engagement: Elevate Council visibility by participating in conferences, meetings, and webinars. (10%)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to Council Policies and Procedures.
  • Learn and sustain knowledge of all Council programs and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all Council stakeholders.
  • Work across departments to develop and maintain a collaborative team relationship.
  • Establish an annual professional development plan with goals that are monitored on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as required, less than 10%.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Experience designing research studies, identifying objectives, and developing protocols.
  • Experience creating surveys and conducting interviews.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data and clearly presenting findings.
  • Experience developing project plans and managing projects.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, SPSS, Winsteps).
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education a plus.
  • Experience in testing and/or credentialing setting is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in a remote environment.
